Holiday home in Sankt Andrae near Lake Klopeiner

This rustic, charming holiday home (Carinthian mountain hut) for a maximum of 6 people is located in Sankt Andrä in Carinthia, between the well-known towns of Völkermarkt and Wolfsberg. Surrounded by forest and countryside, you live in the middle of nature, very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.The house has three bedrooms (one is accessible from the outside), a spacious kitchen-living room with dining table and a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the garden around the house you can enjoy a beautiful view. The last part of the way to the house is an approx. 10 km long mountain path, but it is very passable.Sankt Andrä and the surrounding area offer a number of leisure activities, the Sau- and Koralpe are ideal for hiking, and there are also numerous cycle paths. Sankt Andrä is only a few kilometers from the border with Slovenia. The next larger town is Wolfsberg and the nearest ski area is Koralpe, a small, fine ski area with 18 km of slopes. In about 40 minutes by car you can also reach the Weinebene ski area in Sankt Gertraud, which also has 18 kilometers of slopes.Just 5 km south of Sankt Andrä is the St. Andräer See leisure facility, a popular meeting place in summer. The Stadionbad in Wolfsberg also offers lots of swimming fun in summer, and in about 30 minutes by car you can reach one of the most famous lakes in Austria, Lake Klopein!The surroundings of this house in Carinthia have a lot to offer, both for the sporty holidaymaker and for those who are just looking for peace and quiet. Hiking, cycling, or visiting the magnificent mountains and lakes.Directly in town, in Wolfsberg or in Völkermarkt, there are plenty of shopping opportunities for your daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.

    “Kleines liebes sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegenes Haus in Hanglage auf 1000m Seehöhe. Die Teerstraße endet nach 2km und dadurch kaum PKW Verkehr. Sonne rund ums Haus Ende September von 08.00-18.00Uhr. Im EG sind 2 Schlafzimmer + eine kleine Wohnstube mit TV und das geräumige Bad, welches durch den Kachelofen schnell kuschelig warm wird. Keine Zentralheizung, aber der Ofen im Wohnraum beheizt die ganze Wohnung optimal. Der Garten rund um das Haus läd zum entspannen ein und wurde von uns per 50 m Hühnerzaun schnell ausbruchssicher für unseren Hund gemacht. Die abgeschiedene Lage 10 km oberhalb von St.Andrä läd zum ausspannen und träumen ein, kein Autolärm oder sonstigen Geräusche außer dem Muhen von den Weiderindern.
    Wer absolute Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig, per Auto ist man in kürzester Zeit wieder mitten im Leben. Wir waren zu zweit + Hund dort und haben uns 10 Tage lang super erholen können. Der freundliche Gastgeber Familie Poinsitt wohnt 30 min. entfernt und hat uns mit selbst gebackenem Brot/Eiern/Speck schon bei der Ankunft verwöhnt. Prima Quartier für Ruhesuchende.”
