Alten-Hof

Our farm is situated in a quiet location, 4 km east of Bischofszell on the river Sitter with a beach and barbecue facilities. On the ground floor of the holiday home is the kitchen-cum-living room (with Nespresso capsule machine), 1 double room, shower/WC. 1st floor: living room with 2 beds and 1 children's room with 2 beds for children/teenagers (90 cm x 1.8 m up to approx. 50 kg). The cottage has a seating area with fireplace. Hiking and cycling trails, Hudelmoos, Sitter ferry, Hauptwilerweiher, Lake Constance, Alpstein etc. Pets are allowed (CHF 5/day, maximum 2 dogs). Additional overnight accommodation in the manager's house: 1 triple room with separate WC/shower, wheelchair accessible. - Children up to the age of 16 are exempt from the TG tourist tax. - Next to the cottage (approx. 8 metres away) the parents-in-law breed Golden Retrievers (in kennels).

    “Ich war mit meinem Hund ein paar Tage zu Gast und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Häuschen ist gemütlich, der Aussenbereich mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet und ein gemauerter Grill kann für ein Barbecue genutzt werden. In der Küche ist gut ausgestattet, ein großer Kühlschrank, Backofen/Herd,Waschmaschine und eine Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine. Positiv: Das Häuschen liegt am Rande eines Hofes mit freier Sicht auf eine Weide. Die Ruhe wird von weidenden Kühen und Schafen und deren Glocken unterbrochen, außer siehe unten…
    In der Region gibt es viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge, kleine Wanderungen/Spaziergänge können direkt von der Unterkunft gestartet werden und bei sonnigem Wetter kann in der Sitter gebadet werden. Negativ: Schade, dass die Hunde im angrenzenden Zwinger fast jede Bewegung mit Gebell „kommentieren“.”

    “Positiv: Der Erlebnishof und die Familie sind sehr nett. Der Bauernhof bietet einiges, unter anderem Ponys, Kühe und Kaninchen. Es gibt auch viele Tretfahrzeuge die die Kinder mitnutzen dürften.

    Brennholz zum Grillen wird gestellt.

    Die Hundezucht nebenan hat uns nicht gestört. Negativ: Das Hausschein ist sehr hellhörig.”

    “Ein ganz toller Ort zum Ausspannen. Geeignet für Hundefreunde (Hundezucht mit zahlreichen Hunden nebenan) Positiv: Ein ganz süsses kleines Häuschen!
