High-quality, newly refurbished comfort chalet with sauna, combining the flair and charm of a typical Savoyard mountain chalet with modern amenities to meet the highest demands: a special jewel box with a high feel-good factor. The living space of 190 m² is spread over three floors. The two bedrooms with double beds each have their own shower. Quiet location in Champagny-Le Haut, a quaint and idyllic high mountain hamlet, in the middle of a 'postcard' landscape at the entrance to the national park. Restaurant ~200 m. To the village centre of Champagny (shops, après-ski pubs, cheese dairy, baroque church) and to the express cable car & piste ~5 km (ski bus). High-alpine touring descent - with guide - from the Bellecôte glacier to the chalet. Cross-country ski trails, children's toboggan run and ice-climbing pillar ~350 m.
Spacious living/dining room with dining table for 16 people and modern equipped kitchen; access to the south-facing balcony. Cosy second living room with sofa corner. The main living room with large dining table and sofa seating area and the well-equipped kitchen area are located on the 2nd floor. Large balcony with glacier view.
The maximum occupancy of the chalet is 16 people, even if more sleeping accommodation is available.
Ski info Altitude of chalet: 1,500 m. Ski area up to 3,250 m with glacier. With 425 km of pistes, one of the world's largest ski areas; 157 lifts. Champagny is well connected with an express gondola lift and modern 6-seater chairlifts to the Bellecôte glacier and Les Arcs. Two lifts take you to La Plagne (Plagne Centre) via the Verdons ski summit. Snow-covered valley descent back to the village. A highlight is the 10-km mega descent from the glacier outpost 'Roche de Mio' to Champagny-Ort, with a difference in altitude of 1,500 metres. Plenty of deep snow options in the Verdons area and on the Bellecôte glacier. Children's/practice lift (free) and ski school area at the top station of the cable car at 2,000 m altitude. Also next to the mountain station is the new "Pic-Nic-Chalet" with sun terrace. To Courchevel/the 3 Vallées ski area ~20 minutes by car.
Summer info The chalet has garden furniture, deckchairs and an outdoor barbecue. Sports activities such as hiking, climbing, mountain biking, adventure trail, tennis, fishing and paragliding offer plenty of variety for young and old. In midsummer there is a mountain painting exhibition and jazz concerts in the St Sigismond church. The adventure course and the outdoor pool are popular with children. The highlight is certainly the largest national park in France, the "Parc National Vanoise", which invites you to explore it with ~500 km of marked hiking trails. Flora and fauna can also be discovered on guided tours. Reduced additional costs of €10 per person/week in summer (from 5 years).
