The towns of Nykøbing and Gedser offer good shopping and culinary opportunities, as well as several museums where you can get to the bottom of the history and culture of the region. A real highlight for the summer months is a trip on the mail boat on the Nakskov Fjord, passing the many small islands of the fjord.
