Vacation home Stalla Capre
Isola is situated on Lake Sils, in the middle of the Engadine mountains and their wonderful nature. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet or the numerous hiking routes and excursion possibilities. In winter, the cross-country ski trail is right on the doorstep.
The Stalla Capre used to be a goat stable. Today it is a cosy holiday home, furnished with lots of old wood and an open gallery. All the rooms are top-furnished, the house has modern underfloor heating and even a spacious storage room for sports equipment in the basement.
All year round you can reach Stalla Capre on foot from Maloja in about 40 minutes.
In summer by car, you need about 10 minutes from Maloja to Isola.
From June to October it is also possible to reach Isola by boat via the Silsersee in about 20 minutes.
In winter Isola is completely car-free and can only be reached on foot.
From about the middle of December there is also the possibility to reach Isola with cross-country skis. As soon as the lake is frozen, it can also be passed on foot or with cross-country skis. This is usually possible from mid-December until the end of March from Plaun da Lej in about 25 minutes.

The fascinating play of light and shadows of the landscape has always attracted many artists. Giovanni Sengantini himself chose Maloja as his final resting place and a souce of inspiration and subject for many of his works. Even Giovanni Giacometti, the father of Alberto Giacometti, worked and painted in Maloja, and his artistic spirit still inspires today exhibitions, conferences and concerts. The village on the pass, on the border with authentic Bergell, is appreciated by walkers, art and families. The offer for the latter in particular is widely treated: the adventure park "Capel – the smugglers' route" you can live adventures set in a beautiful landscape, the children playground “Kukuk” is suitable for large and small and in Lake Cavloccio, at 1907 meters above sea level, you can make even the bath.

Other living room features (Living room1): In the living room, a gallery on which a third bed (extra bed) can be set as desired. However, the stairs of the gallery is not suitable for toddlers.
