Our 300-year-old sandstone farmhouse is situated in a quiet, panoramic location with views of the town of Burgdorf and the Jura mountains. We rent out a 31/2-room flat on the 2nd floor with a kitchen-cum-living room. Our main activities are dairy farming and arable farming. The landscape around the farm is also characterised by many standard trees. Holiday guests are welcome to look over our shoulders during the daily stable work and also help with feeding the animals.

Our farm is an ideal starting point for hikes and cycle tours in the Emmental. The Herzoute and the Way of St James pass through Burgdorf. Other activities around Burgdorf: swimming in the Emme, in the indoor or outdoor swimming pool in Burgdorf, a visit to Burgdorf Castle, minigolf in Burgdorf and golf in Oberburg, the Affoltern cheese dairy, "sleeping on straw".
