The holiday flat of approx. 65 m2 and a large terrace is in a very quiet location in Brione, on a hill above Locarno. From here you can enjoy a wonderful 180° view of the lake, the Brissago islands and the surrounding mountains. Via a garden staircase and your own partially covered terrace, you enter directly into your living room. There is a table with 4 chairs, an armchair and a sofa that can also be converted into a bed. There is also a TV and a radio. Through a door you enter the bedroom with 2 beds and 2 wardrobes. Through a second door from the living room you enter the rear part of the flat with the kitchen and the bathroom with a shower. Two small restaurants and a grotto are located in the old village centre of Brione about 200 m walking distance from the house, also the bus station is there, near the church. You can go on beautiful hikes and bike tours directly from the house. The lake shore can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The Bolle di Magadino for bird watching, the Maggia valley, the Verzasca valley and the Onsernone valley - to name just 3 of the picturesque valleys - are also close by, or you can hike or cycle up the surrounding mountains, or simply along the lake or the Maggia. Locarno itself has a spa and 2 public swimming pools, the Camellia Park, a falconry, various museums, a castle, churches worth seeing and a beautiful old town. Ascona is 4 km away, Bellinzona, the capital of the canton of Ticino with its famous castles, is 16 km away, Lugano 22 km and Milan 85 km. the Locarno Film Festival, Moon and Stars or the Ascona Jazz Festival and much more ensure international fame. as WiFi is available, the flat is also well suited as a home office.
