Quiet holiday apartment in the historical centre of a little Alsatian town
The holiday apartment is on a quiet side street in the historical centre of Bouxwiller, the provincial capital of the Hanau region in the Alsace. The entrance to the apartment on the ground floor is through the interior courtyard of a renovated old building.
The apartment of around 36m² is on the ground floor and can accommodate up to four people, and is ideally suited to a family with children. It consists of a living room with a sofa bed (130 x 200cm), a dining corner and an open kitchen, as well as a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200cm) with an adjoining bathroom, up a step, with a shower, washbasin and WC. The open and modern kitchen is fully-equipped with an oven, fridge-freezer, stove, coffee machine, kettle, microwave and toaster. Wireless Internet access is available and there are radiators in all the rooms, with a fan heater in the bathroom. A cot can be provided on request.
You can sit and relax in the interior courtyard. It is possible to drive into the courtyard briefly to load and unload luggage, while you can park the car on one of the public car parks nearby.
The comfortable holiday apartment is ideal for exploring the lovely Alsace region. It is located in the historical centre and provides a beautiful introduction to the history of the region. All everyday shops (grocery shop, bakeries, butcher, pharmacy, stationery shop...) are within a 200-metre walk.
Bouxwiller is known for its timber-framed houses, its history and its Christmas market. It also has a lovely swimming pool, about 1km away. It lies at the foot of the Vosges nature reserve, which is worth a day trip. Evening entertainment is also provided by the famous cabaret Royal Palace in Kirrwiller 6km away. Strasbourg is 40km away.
