Home in Wissinghausen with Private Sauna
This attractive house is the ideal place for an unforgettable holiday. Enjoy the sauna and beautiful, natural surroundings. This holiday home is perfect for families and groups of friends. There are numerous hiking opportunities in the area. Not far away you will find a nature park where you can hike among ancient rock formations and climb to the highest point for a beautiful view. There's also a beautiful, child-friendly lake for swimming. Here you can paddle, rent canoes and water ski. You can also drive to the great ski area of Willingen, 11 km away.The holiday home has a separate entrance, sunny living room with TV and DVD player, furnished bedrooms and a modern bathroom. The house offers enough space for sitting, sunbathing or barbecuing and for the children to play. It has a large terrace and a beautiful garden with unobstructed views.
Winterberg has a lot to offer with the Bike Arena, the winter sports area, the Erlebnisbrücke and many other activities for young and old and all types of weather. Ask the tourist information for all possibilities.
Willingen has a chairlift that takes you all year round to the viewpoint with the tower. It is nice to walk there.
More walking:
- Kahler Asten near Winterberg: explore the highest point of the Sauerland and climb the watchtower for a panoramic view
- Ruhrquelle: towards Winterberg you drive past the source of the Ruhr, a nice place for a circular walk
- Düdinghausen: this village 5 km away from the house has a geological ring road with rocks and fossils
- You can walk straight into nature from the cottage, the possibilities are endless.
Bicycles:
Both for cyclists and mountain bikers, the Sauerland is an area to indulge. It can occasionally be spicy steep. Routes are available from the tourist information.
Winter sports:
The ski resort of Winterberg is 10 km away and the ski area of Willingen is 15 km away.
Closer to 3 km you will already find the Schlossberg in Küstelberg, a single slope but ideal for beginners children and for lessons. It is less crowded than in Winterberg itself.
Swimming:
Both Willingen and Medebach have a swimming paradise.
In the summer it is recommended to drive to the Hillebachsee in Niedersfeld (15 km). There you can swim, supp, water ski and there is a nice playground and a sunbathing lawn.
Playgrounds:
Beyond Winterberg you will find Ford Fun, a big play paradise.
A beautiful new playground was opened in Medebach in 2019
And the closest, in Deifeld, is a quiet playground with, among other things, a cable car.
Bad weather:
- Swimming in one of the play paradise
- The stalactite caves of Attenhorn are only an hour's drive away and are worth the detour!
- In the direction of Usseln you pass the curiuseum, a colorful collection of all curiosities that you can imagine. Sniff around and you will probably find the radio that your grandparents had!
- There are several smaller museums in the region, ask the tourist information what the possibilities are.
