Orselina - Il Réduit alle Rascane - Peace and quiet above the city

Apartment 3,5 rooms with open kitchen, dining room, living room (with radio/TV, WLAN), balcony (furnished).2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower/toilet. Private car park. Next to the Park of Orselina (with its playground), public transports, shops and restaurants. On the 1st floor of a two-family-house, situated in the quiet area of Via Caselle, 386 m.a.s., near the 'Sentiero Collina bassa'-walk. - Marvellous view from the terrace over the Plain of Magadino, Lago Maggiore and the surroundig mountains. From guest feedback: "We immediately felt at home in the apartment. We were happy to take advantage of the opportunites to retreat in bad waether." - There is even enough space for a travel cot for small children in the parents' bedroom. Nice bathroom, funcional kitchen, comfortable sofa corner with a huge flat sreen TV and a simply fantastic view."

Excursion possibilities: Ascona, Lugano, Bellinzona, Verzascatal, Cardada, Centovalli usw.

Location description: From Via Caselle it is just a few minutes' walk to the valley station of the cable car to Cardada/Cimetta or to the Funicolare, the cable car that goes directly to the center of Locarno: lively culture on the Piazza Grande, family-friendly baths by the lake or on to charming Ascona , to the clear waters of the Verzasca, to the wild Centovalli. . . Get to know and appreciate Orselina, the sun terrace above Locarno! From the Chiesa you can admire the fantastic panorama of Lake Maggiore, the Gambarogno mountains, the Isole di Brissago and the Italian town of Cannobbio; marvel at the splendor of camellias and magnolias in early spring; hike through the chestnut forests on old Ticino paths; listen to the bells of the churches; feel the cool hillside wind in summer...

    “Für ruhige und gut an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angebunde Ferien Positiv: Sehr gemütliche Terrasse mit grandioser Aussicht
    Die Grosszügigkeit der vorhanden Alltagsgebrauchsgegenstände
    Interessante Bibliothek
    Grosszügig Kaffeebohnen und super Kaffeemaschine, vielen Dank
    Diverses zum Kochen Negativ: Moskitonetz bei vielleicht zwei Fensten anbringen, um auch nachts durchzulüften. Herzlichen Dank
    Leider reichten bei der grossen Hitze im Juni zwei Kehrichtsäcke nicht aus, da diese Gebührenpflichtig sind. Ausflüge: Via alta 74, Saumpfad Centovalli 631, zu finden in Swiss mobile. - Wunderschöne Wanderungen im Schatten der Bäume”

    “Uns hat es hier - trotz Corona - an Nichts gefehlt. Positiv: Perfekt ausgestattetes Haus / Unterlagen zur Bedienung der Geräte vorhanden / Sehr ruhige, aussichtsreiche Lage / gute Anbindung an das ÖV-Netz / Auto kann meist stehen bleiben. Negativ: Da finde ich nichts. Ausflüge: Naturpfad entlang der Maggia von Someo bis Maggia - Die Auenlandschaft des Valle Maggia gehört zu den spektakulärsten der Schweiz. der Wanderweg ist problemlos zu begehen. Die 380m lange Hängebrücke ist ein Highlite, wie auch die neue, genial geplante Hängebrücke bei Maggia.”
