    “Mit ein paar Ergänzungen in der Ausstattung (Sessel, Kissen, Licht im Schlafzimmer, Bibliothek ...) ist es ein guter Ort mit Ausstrahlung. Positiv: Die Gastfreundschaft bei Empfang und Aufenthalt tat sehr wohl und ich fühlte mich rundherum aufgehoben. Negativ: Es fehlen gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten für regnerische Tage und Leseorgien. Das Sofa ist schön, aber zu zweit schlecht "bewohnbar". Restaurant: Mühle Feilen in Roggwil - In einer wunderschönen alten Mühle gelegen mit atmosphärisch angenehmen Räumen, freundlicher Bedienung und einer fantastischen saisonal geprägten Karte. Kein Schnäppchen, aber angemessene Preise. Ausflüge: Saurer Museum Arbon - Ich sah viele staunende Kinder- und Erwachsenenaugen und genass vor allem den Drink danach mit Blick auf den Bodensee. Terrasse mit vielfältigen Möglichkeiten von der Bar oder im umgenutzten Bus, wer es geschützt mag.”

    “Auf jeden Fall ist, das Max Burkhardt Haus, Arbon und die Region eine Reise wert. Kommen wieder :-) Positiv: Die Ruhe im Quartier und das ganze Haus. Die Wandmalereien sind beeindruckend. Frau Renner ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Negativ: Das Wohnzimmer kann bei schlecht Wetter mit all den alten Möbeln sehr deprimierend wirken. Der Esszimmertisch vor allem die Stühle sind sehr unbequem. Wir hatten das Glück und konnten auf dem Balkon essen.”
