    “Het is een zeer royale bovenwoning. Alleen is er maar één kinderkamer, het andere kind slaapt op de gang. Hier moet je als oudere langs, om naar de wc te kunnen 's-nachts. Dat vonden wij een nadeel. Verder zijn het heerlijke bedden, maar zijn de dekbedden erg kort. Wij zijn allemaal heel lang, dus dat was niet handig. Wij hebben geen tekort aan water gehad met het douchen, we waren met zessen en konden met gemak allemaal onder de douche. Er is ook geen boiler meer te bekennen. Het huis is heel knus ingericht en heerlijk warm te maken met de vele kachels die er hangen.”
