Gite du forgeron 6à8 pers Centre Alsace house
This recently renovated gite was opened in November 2022.
It is open from April to the end of September and from the end of November to the end of December.

Le gîte du forgeron is rated *** (ministerial classification) and is located in the centre of the picturesque village of Saint-Hippolyte (68), which is ideally situated at the foot of the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle on the Alsace Wine Route.
This typical, spacious (100 m2), family-run village house with terrace sleeps 6 to 8 and is spread over two floors, with 3 double bedrooms, a living/dining room with a double sofa bed, a sitting room with TV, 2 bathrooms (one with a walk-in shower) and a fully-equipped kitchen.
Facilities: washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender/mixer, raclette + pierrade equipment, free broadband WIFI, closed bicycle garage, nearby car park, cot and high chair available.
The gîte is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
The accommodation is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
All bed linen, household linen and towels, as well as tourist tax and other charges, are included in the rental price.
A welcome gift awaits you on arrival, for a one-week stay.
The security deposit will be returned on handover of the keys. In the event of damage or cleaning not carried out, the costs will be deducted from the deposit.
Located in the heart of the village, the gîte is close to the shops (bakery, butcher's, grocer's).
Situated at the junction of the Haut-Rhin and Bas-Rhin, the Gîte du Forgeron offers a multitude of cultural and/or natural sites to visit, as well as magnificent villages. It is 84 km from Basle, 60 km from Strasbourg and 20 km from Colmar.
An ideal base for hiking along the paths of the Club Vosgien or Compostelle, or cycling along the cycle paths, both of which are accessible from the accommodation, or along the roads of the Vosges massif and discovering typical villages, magnificent museums and castles.
