The Lindenhof is located directly on the Drau cycling path R1 at the foot of the Lienz Dolomites and the Hohe Tauern in Upper Carinthia, Austria, and this region offers countless opportunities for anyone who appreciates unspoiled nature, mountains, tranquility, and no tourist crowds to unwind and rediscover themselves. Whether it's hiking in the mountains, climbing through gorges, cycling to the small town of Lienz, 20 km away, kayaking on the Drau, enjoying the beaches of the surrounding swimming lakes, or simply lounging in a deck chair or hammock at our farm.

IN WINTER
The Lindenhof is not located in a ski area. Even better! It is situated amidst 30 ski areas!
Of these, 16 are reachable within 15 to 50 minutes by car!

Tobogganing by day and night – this is possible on over 30 toboggan runs in East Tyrol and Upper Carinthia! Guaranteed fun for young and old!

In just 30 minutes by car, you can reach the ice skating mecca Weissensee – the largest prepared natural ice surface in Europe!

Over 250 peaks over 3000 meters, more than 1500 square kilometers of unspoiled nature, and remote valleys are just waiting for you to strap on your skins!

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Has life got in the way and you have to cancel your stay with us at Lindenhof?

This is of course an unpleasant situation for you, but also for us.

As private individuals, we know how difficult it can be to plan months or sometimes even weeks in advance. Nevertheless, a certain degree of planning and predictability is a necessity, both in private life and for us in business. For this reason, the following cancellation conditions apply to all existing and new bookings:

- Cancellation free of charge possible up to 2 months before arrival
- 2 months to 1 month before arrival 50% of the total booking price
- 1 month until arrival, late arrival and early departure 100% of the total booking price

In the event of cancellation, we will endeavor to re-let the vacant dates and thus reduce the economic loss for us and for you. If we succeed in doing this, you will be refunded the cancellation fee already paid less a processing fee of € 30.

However, we generally recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance for every booking.
The best way to do this is to go to or choose another insurance company of your choice and insure your stay with us to the extent that you consider necessary.
That way, everyone is on the safe side - you and us!

DOGS
Vacation with a dog - with pleasure!

For a surcharge of € 10 per night, we welcome your well-behaved and friendly four-legged friend and provide him with a cozy dog blanket. Who likes to sleep on the floor... However, the beds, armchairs and sofas are exclusively for two-legged friends.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

We take the liberty of pre-authorising 15% of the booking amount as a deposit on a credit card presented by the guest on the day of arrival. If everything is in order, this authorisation will be cancelled no later than 7 days after the guest's departure.
