You live in a modern 2.5 room flat in the centre of the tranquil village of Kandersteg.

The accommodation was completed in 2016 and is just a 10-minute walk from the railway station. The village centre with shopping facilities (also on Sundays) and the starting points for various leisure activities can all be reached within a few minutes. A car park in front of the house is reserved for you.

Our accommodation is suitable for couples, single travellers and families with children.
The accommodation
You will be staying in a beautiful penthouse flat in a wooden building completed in 2016. The elaborate construction is evident in all its details and at the same time provides extra-high ceilings and cosy niches. The flat is furnished to the highest standards and leaves nothing to be desired.

The brown oiled cement floor with underfloor heating ensures a pleasant room temperature. This can be regulated individually for each room.

The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, fridge and dishwasher. The dining table easily seats up to 6 people. There is also a fondue set for enjoying the local cheese speciality.

In the living area, a sofa and armchair invite you to linger. Tucked away in the old farmhouse cupboard you will find a radio with a 3.5 mm connection cable for your smartphone and a 32" Full HD TV with over 100 channels if you prefer a few quieter hours despite (or perhaps because of) the wide range of leisure activities on offer in Kandersteg.
From the living area you have access to two balconies: a small one facing east and a main balcony with a bistro table and chairs facing south.

In the bedroom you will find a 160 cm double bed. A small wardrobe with shelves and hangers allows you to organise your luggage. The bedroom with its own balcony faces east. If you leave the blinds slightly open, you will be kissed awake by the morning sun!

In addition to a shower and toilet, the bathroom has a simple countertop washbasin on an old wooden chest of drawers. A practical utensil holder on the wall provides the necessary storage space.

A special feature of this flat is the small gallery under the ridge. A pull-out staircase leads you into this alcove, which is furnished with 2 mattresses. A small skylight allows you to watch the stars when the sky is clear.
