This charming cottage, located in Brookland, features 2 bedrooms for 4 people. Perfect for a small group, guests can lounge in the living room with a lovely view and access free WiFi here.

You can drive down to the lake, 5 km, and enjoy picnicking there. If you wish to enjoy a scrumptious meal and enjoy nightlife, you can go to restaurants and bars, 7 km away. You can also go to the beach, 10 km away.

This cottage features beautiful wooden interiors which provide a warmth to your stay at this stylish property. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven and microwave. Guests can lounge in the living room and unwind with several options for entertainment. The countryside offers a welcoming atmosphere to relax with views of vast fields and a calming weather.

Public transport is available 7 km away. A train station is also located 7 km away while the nearest airport is 65 km away.

We think you will enjoy the long sandy beach at Camber, just 15 minutes drive from us.

Rye is a lovely old town with many pubs and restaurants. The Rye tourist centre at the Strand has a town model which tells you the history of Rye. Winchelsea is also a beautiful old town with historic buildings and views out to the sea and the Romney Marshes. The country Kitchen in Winchelsea has a lovely cafe and delicatessan for food. Rye has a very good market every Thursday.

Lovely walks locally and at the two RSPB nature reserves, Dungeness and Rye Harbour and at the country park at Fairlight.

Route description:
From the M20 Ashford exit at junction 10. Follow the A2070 all the way to Brenzett, about 20 minutes journey. At the roundabout, go straight over onto the A259, for Rye and Hastings. At the next roundabout (Brookland) go straight over again, continuing on the A259 towards Rye. After about 2 kms turn right, off a sharp left hand bend. The only sign is Jo's Cafe! Continue down this lane for 2 kms, Puddock Farm is on your left. The farmhouse is straight down the drive on your right.

Malthouse has gas central heating with a combination boiler. The kitchen has a fridge \/ freezer, a gas hob and an electric oven, and a washing machine. NEW for 2015 a dishwasher and a new kitchen.

The living area has original paintings by the owner, and a 32\" television with Freeview. There is free Wi-fi in your lodge.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, a basin and WC.

There is a bedroom with two single beds, and a bedroom with a double bed. Malthouse has a large deck with table and chairs, and has beautiful country views where wyou can watch many birds.

There is a nice pub just 2 kms down the lane, the Woolpack. In winter it has a log fire and is very pleasant.

It is easy to visit London by train from our local station Appledore. The seaside is just 10 kms away.

Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt zum Besuch der Kreideküste, für eine Fahrt nach London, Ausflüge zu den Castles und Gärten, aber auch zum Outletcenter nach Ashford. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.”
