This is a secluded country house with an old building and an adjoining mill. Materials such as chestnut wood, lava stone and the characteristic Sicilian bricks used in agricultural building were used for the renovation. The interior is contemporary with a typical Sicilian décor. The holiday house “Salto del Corvo” is situated in the hilly landscape at Mascali (ca. 600 metres above sea level), near Puntalazzo, about 10 minutes by car from the sea and about 20 minutes from Taormina, along the road leading to Etna
The country house consists of a hall-like room with a sofa bed for one person, a large kitchen, a stone oven and a fireplace, as well as a sleeping area with a double bed. The adjoining mill has two single beds and a double bed. The country house and the mill can therefore accommodate a total of seven people. The mill is fitted with an air conditioning unit (cool/warm).
The terrace affords a panoramic view over the sea, stretching from Riposto to Taormina-Giardini Naxos. On clear summer days you can even see the coast of Calabria.
Grape vines, olive and fruit trees are planted on the ca. 5000m² site. For most of the year you can sample the wine, olive oil and homemade jams.
