Holiday apartments in converted farmhouse dating from the 16th Century, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, with swimming pool, equipped garden (children's games, etc.) and grill area, so guests can eat outside.

The Palaia agriturismo is an organically oriented farm operated as a family business, in the middle of a hilly landscape (300 m above sea level). It covers an area of 24 hectares where wine and olives are cultivated. The farmhouse, which was built in the 16th Century, is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, in a sunny location with a panoramic view.
It is the ideal destination for those looking for a holiday with the perfect balance between nature and culture, insofar as the farm is only 25 km away from Florence.

The complete renovation of the house was made in accordance with its original features: wood beamed ceilings, floors with clay tiles, preservation and enhancement of masonry arches and stone walls. All this allows the historic charm of the house to continue to be appreciated. Encircled by olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees, in a sunny location, the house offers a wide view of the surrounding hills.

All parts of the outdoor area are open and accessible (without enclosures), with the exception of the vineyards, which are fenced to protect the crop. In the spacious outdoor area guests will find two swimming pools available, including loungers, sunshades and swings for the children, as well as a grill with table area, so you can eat outside. The resort offers you a peaceful and relaxing stay and is also suitable for families with children.

The farmhouse is divided into two apartments, "Il Focolare" (the hearth) and "La Botte" (the barrel), which are completely independent of each other.

Eight sleeping places spread over a living space of 200m2.

The apartment, which is located on the first floor, is accessed via a stone staircase and an adjoining loggia. There is an old wood-burning oven on the loggia. Inside, there are simple and rustic furnishings. The apartment consists of six large and bright rooms, four of which are double bedrooms (extra bed for children or cradle on request, included in the price). All rooms have a shower-bath (and antechamber). The living room is furnished with sofas and a TV set; in the kitchen-cum-living room there is an old fireplace of rare beauty. Single-storey heating system, fully equipped kitchen (gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, high chair). The two apartments in the house share a laundry room. Parking is available. The country inn is open year round and has been classified with two ears (classification system for agritourismo in Italy).
