Luxury house in a quiet estate with pool
Discover and enjoy the rich foothills of the Pyrenees in this romantic and completely restored country estate (1880). During the renovation, a perfect balance was found between modern comfort and the numerous style and historic elements. The result is therefore a real pleasure!Besides this house there are on the estate several outbuildings and another adjoining holiday cottage. The estate offers plenty of space and peace to make your holiday a success.During the 4 seasons one will find an excellent place to be, on this estate with its thick walls. Therefore it's proposed the whole year around. In summer, on a sunny terrace or in the shade of the mature trees in the park garden (1.5 ha) you will dream your way while your companions enjoy the pool and pool house. In winter you will find warmth and coziness close the fireplaces, stoves or central heating.The property features comfortable beds with several having a length of 2m20.In the vicinity is plenty to do. Of course there are numerous hiking and biking trails where you can fully enjoy the unspoiled nature. But in this area, which it's practically known for its Armagnac, you will be able to satisfy your culinary wishes as well. You will also find charming villages and towns with terraces and markets and an 18 holes golf course at a 10-minute drive to complete your stay.
The 1.5 hectares of land, the forest, its quiet surroundings and marvellous house, the large swimming pool ( 14x6 meters )and the beautiful terraces will guarantee you the most wonderful holiday ever! The pilgrimage city of Lourdes will truly amaze you and is only a 30 min. drive away.In the Pyrenees you will find beautiful places like the waterfalls of Pont d'Espange, le Petit Train d'Artouste and the magnificent view on the top of the col du Tourmalet where you can go by cable car.Near Lourdes you also find one of the most beautiful grottos in the world; Les Grottes de Betharram. Summer here is warm and sunny, but also spring and autumn have comfortable warm temperatures.You will love it!Golf: Just a 10 minutes drive away you find the big castle of Pallanne with its magnificent golf courses.Ski: There are a lot of beautiful places in the Pyrenees where you can ski.
