Provençal country house with a Mediterranean garden and pool, in the medieval village of Séguret, classified as one of the most beautiful village in France
This beautiful, Provençal country house with no direct neighbours is about two kilometres outside of Séguret, a medieval village among the most beautiful villages in France. The large site is surrounded by vineyards and offers a unique view of the rocky landscape of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
The holiday house for ten people provides 200m² of living space and a high standard of comfort, in relaxing surroundings. It has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The ground floor has a living room (37m²) with a fireplace, TV, sofas and armchairs. The dining room (26m²) has a big dining table with ten chairs. The kitchen (20m²), which has a second dining space for four people, is equipped with all modern appliances, including a Senseo coffee machine and a dishwasher. The ground floor also has a bedroom with a double bed, a shower room (25m²) with a shower and toilet, a further toilet, and a storage room with a washing machine, dryer and boiler. The other bedrooms and bathrooms are on the upper floor. Two of the bedrooms (10m² and 15m²) have a double bed, while the third (10m²) has two single beds. The fourth bedroom (12m²) has a bunk bed for two people. The two bathrooms have a bath or a shower and a toilet. The double beds are 140cm wide, while the single beds and the bunk bed are 90cm wide. All the rooms have heating.
The garden of more than 1600m² is planted with Mediterranean plants, olive trees, lavender and rosemary. There is an 8 x 4-metre pool nestled into the garden. It is open from June to September and is heated during this period, if necessary, at no supplementary charge. If weather permits, the pool is also open in May and October, then the heating is charged in addition. The terrace provides a table, ten chairs and a gas grill. There are also ten deckchairs, which are perfect for relaxin, and a boules alley for entertainment. There are three parking spaces by the house.
The house has free wireless Internet access. Two bicycles are available for use free of charge ad others can be hired five kilometres away.
The nearest village of Roaix (3km) has a little shoppingc entre with a bakery, a grocery shop and a butcher. The village of Sablet, 4km from the house, has two bakeries, a grocery shop, a bookshop, a pharmacy and three restaurants. There are larger shops and other restaurants in the town of Valson-La-Romaine 6km away. Nearby and in the wider surroundings you can play tennis or golf and go on leisurely walks through the vineyards. The famous Mont Ventoux is not far away.
