Big, comfortable holiday house with a terrace and playground, in the midst of nature on the edge of a forest, ideal for nature and hiking enthusiasts, with the possibility to hire mountain bikes

This big and comfortable holiday house is right in the midst of nature, on the edge of a forest. All around there are wonderful, waymarked hiking trails and mountain bike routes, making the private house on an enclosed site ideal for nature and hiking enthusiasts and for a holiday with family or friends.

The house provides 200m² of living space for ten people. The ground floor has a functional and fully-equipped kitchen. The 60m² living room provides a cosy sitting corner in front of the fireplace. Next to it there is the big dining space. There is even a tuned piano for a musical end to the day. The ground floor also has a bathroom with a bath and bed, a separate WC and a storage room. The 15m² intermediate level has a reading corner, games and a PC with Internet access. The first floor has another 40m² living room with two sofas and a TV, as well as second bathroom with a shower and WC. Three of the four bedrooms are also on the first floor. The first two each have a double bed (140 x 190cm and 140 x 200cm), the third has three single beds (90 x 190cm), while the fourth has a double bed (140 x 190cm) and a single bed (90 x 190cm) and is on the second floor. All the rooms have central heating, included in the rental price.

The living room opens onto the 80m² terrace. The detached house is surrounded by a 1500m² plot of land, with a swing, a slide and a table tennis table for children. All ages will enjoy the petanque alley, There is an oven for baking tarte flambée and a grill, so you can enjoy spending sociable time together outdoors in the garden. There are six parking spaces on site.

Ten mountain bikes are available for hire for cycle tours. Firewood for cosy evenings by the fireplace is provided free of charge.

You can go to Reichshoffen 7km away for shopping, or to Niederbronn Les Bains 8km away. A travelling baker stops by in front of the property in the mornings between 8.00 and 8.30 from Monday to Saturday. Within a radius of ten kilometres you can find a dozen traditional restaurants, with information about them available in the house. The nearby Niederbronn-Les-Bains has a casino and thermal baths, for leisure and entertainment. Or you can explore the surrounding sights such as the Fleckenstein, Windstein and Schöneck castles, the Maginot Line and the Bitche citadel. It is about an hour on foot to the Schöneck and Windstein castles, a half-hour’s drive to Fleckenstein castle and 20 minutes to the Bitche citadel. The Maginot line near Lembach and Schönenburg is about 25km away.

    Familie Beck, 4 Generationen, haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt in Ihrem Haus. Alles war da, selbst an Spielsachen für die Kinder war gedacht. Der großzuegige Tisch lud zum Verweilen ein. Die Terasse ebenso großzügig ausgestattet. Wir konnten Boule spielen, und am Kaminfeuer entspannen.
    Die Großzügigkeit vermied jeglichen Stress. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt in Ihrem Haus.

    “Ein sehr sehr schönes, geräumiges und mir viel Liebe eingerichtetes Ferienhaus das uns ( 7 große
    und 3 kleine)Menschen eine Woche lang beherbergt hat....
    Der sehr freundliche Empfang mit Wein und Kuchen sowie die anschließende Führung haben gleich das Gefühl von Heimat aufkommen lassen....
    Die Ausstattung der Küche lässt jedes Hausfrauenherz höher schlagen, es ist wirklich ALLES da was man zum Kochen braucht, sogar eine Senseo Kaffeepad-Maschine und eine große Gefriertruhe , sowie genügend Geschirr und Gläser....
    Man muss auch nicht alles mitschleppen wie in anderen Ferienhäusern, es gibt Toilettenpapier Spül-und Putzmittel, und genügend Gewürze und Grundnahrungslebensmittel wie etwa viele Teesorten Essig und Öl Salz Pfeffer Kaffeepads und und und.....
    Der Flammkuchenofen ist toll, wir waren an dem Abend alle man pappsatt,...leckerrrrrr :):):)
    Auch der Grill hat jeden Tag bei uns arbeiten müssen....
    die Kinder waren begeistert, und auch da sind viele Spielsachen vorhanden die ein Kinderherz erfreuen...
    Wir werden sicher nochmal wieder kommen um uns zu erholen und gut zu speisen....”

    “Wir waren mit sieben Erwachsenen in Dambach und alle sind von dem wunderschönen Haus und dem Gelände begeistert. Die Ausstattung ist super, wir haben nichts vermisst. Besonders gut hat uns der Flammkuchenofen gefallen. Das große Wohnzimmer und auch das kleine in der ersten Etage bieten viel Platz, um es sich auch drinnen gemütlich zu machen, wenn das Wetter mal nicht so mitspielt. Der Garten bietet eine große sonnige Terrasse, die Möglichkeit zu grillen und einen Bouleplatz. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben ein großes Interesse daran, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen, so wurde zum Beispiel ein defekter Wasserkocher sofort ausgetauscht.”

    “Diese Buchung war für uns ein Volltreffer hinsichtlich Lage, Ausstattung und Außenbereich. Das Ferienhaus war mit den 4 Zimmern, den 2 Bädern und der Küche im EG sehr gut aufgeteilt. Das große Wohnzimmer im EG ist sehr gut geeignet, um mit einer größeren Personenanzahl zusammen zu sitzen. Die Zimmer waren alle sehr ordentlich eingerichtet. Die Küche bot ebenfalls alles, was Hausfrau bzw. -mann erwarten können. Hervorzuheben ist der Außenbereich, der einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck machte und sofort Urlaubsstimmung aufkommen ließ. Auch hier haben die Vermieter es so gestaltet, dass eine große Anzahl Mieter zusammensitzen und z.B. grillen können. Nicht zu vergessen ist in diesem Zusammenhang, dass das Haus in einer optimalen Lage in einem Tal liegt. Es ist stets sehr ruhig und grün. Für den kleinen Sport haben wir die vorhandene Tischtennisplatte (sehr gute Idee der Vermieter) oft genutzt. Für den größeren Sport haben wir das FH als Ausgangspunkt für viele Radtouren und Wanderungen genutzt. Wir haben in der Vergangenheit bereits oft unseren Urlaub in FH verbracht, selten jedoch haben uns so wohl gefühlt. Im FH liegen auch ganz viel Informationen zur Umgebung, den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, zu kleinen Besonderheiten der nähern Umgebung wie z.B. einer Ziegenkäserei aus. Sehr bemerkenswert war die detaillierte Einweisung der Vermieter in das FH verbunden mit sehr vielen interessanten Informationen über Land und Leute. Das alles zusammen hätte auch eine 6 für die Bewertung verdient.”
