This is how holiday rental owners described Badesi
Famous all around the world for its crystalline waters and white sandy beaches, Sardinia is not only “sun and sea”, but also tradition, culture and cuisine. Surrounded in the Mediterranean Sea, this island has a pristine habitat with a landscape where you can still find the Nuraghic civilization remains. For

show more its mild climate, Sardigna (as it is called by Sardinian people) can be explored during all the course of the year. In fact, beyond the beautiful sea, we can also discover the hinterland, organize trips or trekking on foot and by bike.
Badesi is a small town in the North of the island of Sardinia located on the side of a hill at around 135 metres above sea level and overlooking the Coghinas river valley. It has about 1,900 inhabitants and covers an area of 35.071 square kms.
It is 2 km from the longest beach on the North Coast, with fine sand lapped by the turquoise and emerald waters of a pure and limpid sea. A beautiful beach which snakes along the coast for 12 kilometres and which is an earthly paradise full of wide open spaces where you can walk or simply stretch out on sand as fine as icing sugar. Enjoy the beauty of nature; the blue of the sky, the warm vital and intense colours of the Mediterranean scrub that covers the coastline; the scent of the sea, the myrtles, lentisk trees, broom, holm oaks, and wild olive trees; the delights of a sunset when the last rays of sun cover the sea with golden reflections. The beach at Li junchi can be reached along a tree-lined road complete with cycle track and pedestrian path, and there is also a public shuttle bus service which allows everyone in the area to get to the beach without using their car.
A paradise for those who love the sea, fishing, (whether on the river, the sea, or lakeside), nature and water-sports like sailing, windsurf, and surfing, but there is more. This is the perfect place for long walks, rides on horseback or on mountain bikes.
Close by there are numerous small sandy coves and rocky bays, together with a hinterland filled with vegetation yet sparsely populated.
The properties on offer are houses that are part of the local community, or in condominiums with more than one family. They may also be independently sited within residential complexes, or located around the outskirts of the town, in the middle of the country with all the privacy that this implies but always within easy reach of the sea.
