    “Mauroux ist nicht so interessant, aber die Gegend ist wunderschön und es gibt so viele andere nette und wunderschöne Orte in der Umgebung. Im Lot kann man problemlos mit den Hunden schwimmen. Manche Dörfer gehören ganz offiziell zu den schönsten Frankreichs. Größere Städte wie Cahors, Bergerac und Agen sind in einer knappen Stunde zu erreichen. Die Höhle Pech Merle ist sehr sehenswert, älter als Lascaux und auch original und keine Nachbildung. Das Château Bonaguil ist ebenfalls sehenswert. Und man sollte unbedingt die Märkte in der Umgebung besuchen.”
