    “Themar kann mit ausreichenden Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einem kleinen durchaus sehenswerten Ortskern aufwarten. Es gibt noch den ein oder anderen Restaurations-Bedarf, aber das trifft wohl auch für andere Orte zu. Eine Tankstelle am Ortsausgang in Richtung Schleusingen ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Restaurants, Cafes, etc. sind eher rar, bzw. waren Anfang Dezember meist geschlossen.”

    “Der Ort ist ideal zum Wandern. Aus dem Grundstück raus und schon ist man in der Natur. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Themar genügend. Gaststätten haben wir keine besucht, da die Küche im Ferienhaus sehr gut ausgestattet war.
    Die Touristeninformation in Themar ist sehr gut. Der junge Mann dort hat uns gute Wandertipps gegeben.”
